“Oedipus and Sphinx” is a compelling installation art piece designed with ZBrush during my bachelor studies. Intended for the central yard of the Faculty of Engineering at Shahid Bahonar University of Kerman, this artwork draws inspiration from the myth of Oedipus and the Sphinx. According to the myth, Oedipus had to solve the Sphinx’s riddle to enter the city, symbolizing wisdom and knowledge. This installation aims to resonate with students heading to the library, symbolizing the pursuit of wisdom and the challenges encountered along the academic journey. “Oedipus and Sphinx” serves as a powerful reminder of the value of knowledge and the intellectual challenges that lead to personal and academic growth.
